Is there any way to keep images within a layer from preloading. I have a collection of State Maps each within its own layer. I don't want the image to load unless that layer is clicked on. Is there any way to do this? I have tried putting each layer in a seperate file using SSI but this didn't help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The page is at http://epicadventures.com/epicparkrec.htm
Thanks MarkW |

1. Set up each layer with a blank ( 1px x 1px ) image set to the size of your image.
2. When the image is required just swap the image source to the real image you want displayed which will then be loaded on demand. |
