Hi, I have a mailto link on an Html page. This works fine with a Netscape browser and email client or an IE browser and Outlook. I get problems with the combination of Netscape as a browser and Outlook as the email client. The link simply does nothing.
I know that this can be solved by setting up Netscape to use Outlook as it's email client but I am not in a position to change the users set up. Is there any other way around this i.e. on the Html side? Thanks for any assistance. Nicholana. |

There's really nothing you can do if the user doesnt have an email program associated with their browser. Really your only other option would be to place an email form on your page and have it processed and sent from the server side. In that way the user would not need to have an email program on their computer.
