Named anchors don't work in IE7
Thanks for taking the time to read my question.
I have named anchors on my pages and they work in FF, but not in IE6 or IE7. I have validated my pages (This Page Is Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict!) and am not sure why the links don't work. Example page is: http://www.2nationsfemalehockeyleag...Elite2Teams.htm Use any of the team names at the top of the page or in the light blue box. I have no idea why they don't work. I posted a question like this a while back, and I referred to it but don't see what I'm doing wrong. Thanks, Brad |

Hi
I've been messing around for a while and it works intermittently in ie6/7 if I start interacting with the page before it's fully loaded (easy for me atm as I'm on dial up while I renovate my house ).ie. if I click a link or even mouse over the top js menu before the page finishes loading it works fine. So I disabled javascript and hey presto works no problem. So I'm pretty sure it's something in your top nav javascript. Also you might want to think about doing that nav bar with CSS instead of javascript. When javascript is disabled it doesn't display at all. Check these articles on css dropdowns http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/ http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/ |
