    nesting order and unordered lists with xhtml

    I am converting a site to be xhtml compliant.

    When i have unorder or ordered lists nested within each other the validator i am using does not like the nesting.

    [html]
    <h3>Questions and Answers</h3>
    <ul>
    <li><strong>Northern N.M.:</strong> with Curtis Smith &amp; Rick Daniell</li>
    <ul>
    <li>Bark on Poplar Tree</li>
    <li>Fall Web Worms</li>
    <li>Tree Forms</li>
    </ul>
    </ul>
    <ul>
    <li><strong>Southern N.M.: Dried Flower Arrangements - </strong>with John White &amp; Virginia Podmenik</li>
    <ul>
    <li>Mexican Sage</li>
    <li>Lanaria</li>
    <li>Lavender</li>
    <li>Pomegranate</li>
    <li>Globe Artichoke</li>
    <li>Red Twig Dogwood</li>
    <li>Gypsophilia</li>
    </ul>
    </ul>
    [/html]

    What can i do different??

    a properly nested list
    Code:
    <ul>
       <li>list item 1</li>
       <li>list item 2
           <ul>
           	   <li>sublist item 1</li>
    	</ul>
       </li>
    </ul>
    remember that the sublist has to within the li-element it is supposed to be under.
