I have a background image for a table which has tables nested inside of it. It looks fine in IE, but in Netscape the background image is being used for all of the tables (the one it is supposed to, plus the nested tables). Does anyone know how to stop this?

It's one of the few annoying inconsistencies of Netscape. I believe it will be done away with in version 5 (a radical departure from previous versions).
At this point I believe there is no way around it. |

YES! there is a way:
Create a totally transparent GIF (an 1x1 image is enough)and use it to be the background of the nested tables. It works! |
