Hi!
Can anyone help me with the following: I want to create a link which refers to a page with a frameset in it. Following this link should open this page but with one frame having a different source html. Is it possible to open a frameset page and then on the same time change the source of one frame within that frameset ?? If so, please provide the solution.. Thnx in advance! Grtz Faz |

Yes it can be done but its quite difficult. Ive been trying to do the same thing but havent got all the bugs worked out yet. Basically you will use a script to force the page into its frameset and then have one frame load a different page than what it originaly is suppose to. This site has script to do most of this:
http://www.chalcedony.com/javascript/scripts/index.html As you will see when you click this link that they even use that script becasue it will reload itself into its frameset. GO to chapter 4 and they have a bunch of script for working with framesets. Spookster |
