Hi!

Can anyone help me with the following:
I want to create a link which refers to a page with a frameset in it. Following this link should open this page but with one frame having a different source html.

Is it possible to open a frameset page and then on the same time change the source of one frame within that frameset ??
If so, please provide the solution..

Thnx in advance!

Grtz

Faz

Yes it can be done but its quite difficult. Ive been trying to do the same thing but havent got all the bugs worked out yet. Basically you will use a script to force the page into its frameset and then have one frame load a different page than what it originaly is suppose to. This site has script to do most of this:

http://www.chalcedony.com/javascript/scripts/index.html

As you will see when you click this link that they even use that script becasue it will reload itself into its frameset. GO to chapter 4 and they have a bunch of script for working with framesets.
