Greetings!
I have acquired the DynLayer-related source from DynDuo - great tools, I should admit. However, there are difficulties yet. I'd like to use, say, a newsticker. However, I do not want it to float over other page's contents; I want it to reside in a separate, predefiend place. I have placed an image into a document to server the newsticker's background, via
<IMG ...>
HTML code.Now I'd like to move the newsticker object so that it would be placed over the "newsbg" DIV. How should I do that? All the best, Konstantin. ------------------ ======================= Ralion project (in Russian): http://ralion.id.ru |

Of course I meant "DynLayers", not "DevLayers"...

Look at Dynamic Drive for Mike Hall's scroller. Find the functions involved in repositioning the layer, that are:

getLayer
getPageLeft
getPageTop
moveLayerTo
hope it helps! |
