How can I prevent the diabling of my right clicks when I'm using IE 4 or 5?

J.

A number of DHTML scripts on the net can help disable the right click menu in your browser. Here's one of them: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/noright.htm

Prehap I was misunderstood. I want to prevent a page from diabling my right click (menu) functions. So, that I may be able to copy shortcuts.

I this even possible?

I don't think that is possible. The only thing you would be able to do is save the page to your hard drive and then extract the shortcuts. However, if they've removed your ability to right-click, you probably can't save the page either. If you are using IE, try Netscape and vice versa. Sometimes the scripts people use aren't fully cross-browser compatible and you might be able to find a loophole. Also try a browser like Opera. Sometimes, the scripts detect and only work if you have a certain browser.

Oh, so you want the reverse effect as a user, hay?

Just save the page, locate and remove the annoying script, then load the resulting page in your browser. Full access to everything again.

JKB, that's an incredibly simple solution. I can't believe I didn't think of that!

hold down the left mouse button, and while it is down, click the right hand button - hey presto , or better still just view source form the View menu.
