    Question printing to address label

Hello everyone, I'm looking forward to the help you'll be able to give me.

I'm using PHP to retrieve info from MySQL database. What I need to do is format the results so they can be printed to address labels. The formatting need to accommodate the label template. I need help with HTML so I can write my PHP code.

    For example:
    • The 1st row of labels is 1 inch from the top
    • There's a 1/2 inch space between labels in the row
    • Rows are 1/4 inch apart
    • etc.

    Can this be done?

It can be done, but it's very hard to do with HTML, even with CSS involved. HTML isn't quite so suited to printing (it was never really designed that way), so you would be better off looking at something that can produce PDF files as they can normally have the millimetre precision that you'd need for something like this.
