Problems with IE and NS compatibility!!!

I need to transform a script so that it works in NS (actually it only works in IE). The problem is "document.all[rollOn.arguments[0].src" has to be converted, but I tried "document.layers", "document.images" .. nothing works!!! May somebody help me?!?!?
