Reload will reset everything, how prevent this??

What I´m trying to say is that my dynamically (with js: document.images[1].src='x.gif') changed images are changed back to their original imgsources when the page is reloaded. Is there a way to prevent this?? The best would be to disable the reloading function, as I want my variables and arrays to stay intact.

Well could you post your script so that I can get a better understanding of what you are trying to do?
