    Hi, I'm having a problem with using resizable images in tables. It looks fine in IE, but some of the images don't show up in Netscape. It's www.ekaboo.com/test/.

    I know it's an ugly site, but....

    Netscape is a bugger is'nt it! - in your code goto -
    <LI>Buyer and Seller Friendly
    <LI>Convenient
    <LI>Minimize Inventory
    <LI>Lower Scrap Foam Costs </LI></UL>BUY DIRECT!</B></FONT>
    <TD background=Scrapfoam_com_files/right-yes.gif height="100%" rowSpan=6
    width=45>.</TD></TR><!---------- here ----------> notice the '.' - Netscape needs something in the <td></td> to make it work under some circumstances!!!! but not in others!!!

    do the same again here - (just below)
    <TD background=Scrapfoam_com_files/bottomleft-yes.gif height="100%"
    width=99>.</TD></TR>
    <TR>

    that should solve 2 of the problems - I think you have a different problem in the top-right bit - remember also that Netscape is VERY VERY picky about correct html - just one small out of place <td> - whatever can screw up your whole page .

    You would be well advised to test your page in netscape constantly as you develop it - Netscapes followers will tell you it promotes 'proper' html and this keeps us on our toes hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - not sure about that myself but anyway - hope this gets you on course & I think your page is coming along nicely - certainly not ugly - keep at it!.

    Thanks a lot. Hmmm, the page still seems a little weird. Someone told me that netscape doesn't support percentage sizes in <td>'s is that true? If so, is there an alternative I can use?

    Try making a 1 pixel GIF the same color as the cell background and sticking it in there, or even better a transperent GIF.

    Yes, Netscape is a real bugger sometimes.
