I'd like to insert a simple html command which allows visitors to search for documents containing visitor submitted words, and targets the results to a new frame.

I don't think you understand the complexity of what you're asking. The simplest way to add a search engine to your site without having to install new software is to use the free services of companies like atomz.com.
