Hello there,

has anyone else come across the problem of a page returning:

Error processing SSI file 'file name.txt'

I have included the code:
<!--#include file="/common/ssi/header.txt" -->
to include the file but sometimes it doesn't show the include, and this seems to be a random problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Steph

Well, to alleviate some SSI voodoo, I usually do:

<!--#include virtual="../file.txt"-->

I find that the VIRTUAL keyword works much better than FILE. Could just be an Apache thing, though. IIS handles VIRUTAL just fine, so I never tried file.

Check out the documentation on apache.org for more info.

Hey Josh,

thanks for your help, I tried to changing all the files to virtual yesterday.

It seemed to elimate the problem for a short time, but well it now seems as buggy as ever...

Maybe its just my server, I'll have our network guy like at it.

Cheers for the help bud.

Steph
