Does anyone know if its possible to apply style sheets to forms in Netscape Navigator 4.08?
I created a two part nav menu using two text boxes. The user first selects a category (Plan, Notebook, Risk, etc.), then selects the project (project A, project B, etc.) for which they will recieve that information. Then they just hit a button, and the corresponding page loads.
From this, the user can select any combination of category and project from one simple menu. Originally, I created this menu with graphics so it would look nice.
But I am a summer intern, and when I leave, my boss (who does not know too much about web design, or have the time to learn) must update the site himself. So I decided to create a similar menu with text boxes so that he wouldn't have to deal with graphics. Only, no, the menu looks quite boring when compared to my original graphic-based one.
So I decided that I would try to give it a little flair by changing the fonts/colors. And it works great in IE 5.0, but it doesn't seem to work at all in Netscape 4.08. Unfrotunately, the company I work for only uses Netscape 4.08, and I don't think they're updating any time soon. So, I just thought I'd double check to make sure there wasn't some trick to make Netscape forms use style sheets.
Thanks a lot in advance.
