Hi. I'm building a site that uses the dhtml/javascript menuing app from the DHTML lab as webreference.com. In my situation, I load the menu then load part of a form. From there, the user makes a selection from a drop list and another part of the form loads on the right side of the page.
The weird thing is that after anything loads on the right half of the page after the initial load, the menu will open behind the form elements on that side - not on top of them like the left. Anyone able to help me out with that? I've looked around but haven't found anything so far. Thanks in advance. Bob |

Not familiar with the script but.....
if the form elements overlap any nested layers the form elements wil always be on top no matter what you do, if the form elements and dropdown menu live in the same layer then there is no conflict, if not, no amount of z-indexing will help (in either browser (hate not having an excuse to poke netscape with something sharp)). the solution ...... errr Simon ------------------ Simon Wheeler FirePages -DHTML/PHP/MySQL |
