    Greetings!

    I have acquired the DynLayer-related source from DynDuo - great tools, I should admit. However, there are difficulties yet.

    I'd like to use, say, a newsticker. However, I do not want it to float over other page's contents; I want it to reside in a separate, predefiend place.

    I have placed an image into a document to server the newsticker's background, via

    <DIV id="newsbg" align="center"><IMG ...></DIV>

    HTML code.Now I'd like to move the newsticker object so that it would be placed over the "newsbg" DIV. How should I do that?

    All the best,

    Konstantin.

    Look at Dynamic Drive for Mike Hall's scroller. Find the functions involved in repositioning the layer, that are:
    <UL TYPE=SQUARE>
    <LI>getLayer
    <LI>getPageLeft
    <LI>getPageTop
    <LI>moveLayerTo
    </UL>

    hope it helps!
