    XHTML Discussion

I feel that XHTML may have become redundant now.

The reason that XHTML 1.0 was made was to ensure that XML can be used with HTML 4.01. So now with all the HTML5 updates, everything that XHTML promised to bring will be brought by HTML5. So I wanted to know what you think will happen to XHTML.

A = > Will HTML5 Easily outrun XHTML 1.0 (Effectively making XHTML depreciated over HTML5)
    or
B = > Will XHTML continue to co-exist even after formal release of HTML5? (With the possibility of using both together using XHTML5)

Please tell me your opinions on this topic.
