    HTML non draggable tables???

    hello,
    i am working on an email signature.
    i created it in HTML tables. when i copy and paste the code into outlook, you can drag the tables.
    I would like to make the table non draggable.
    how do you do that with tables?
    if you could help me out, that would be great!
    thanks

    Code:
    <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"  draggable="false" style="table-layout:fixed; display: inline-table; ">
      <tr>
       <td width="205" height="49"><a href="http://www.maxxis.com/" target="_blank"><img name="MaxxisLogo" src="http://www.maxxis.com/Repository/Images/e3-3_maxxislogo.jpg" width="205" height="49" border="0" id="MaxxisLogo" alt="Click to view Maxxis.com website" /></a></td>

    As an email signature in Outlook, you can't. The 'New Mail' page is designed to be an editor so it lets you edit what's in there. The only way that I know of to make something "fixed" is to create it as a single image file. I don't think that you'd want to do that with the links that you have in there but that's pretty much the only option.

    You could always work on user training so that they know to not move stuff.

    ok, thank you very much for the information:
    question
    how can i change the alt information in my email signature?
    in the code of my email signature, i changed the alt tag to say alt="Maxxis" and when you view or hover over the image in Outlook, it shows the image path instead, why? and how can i just get it the alt tag to say "Maxxis" instead of the path of the image?
    The image is attached.
    Thanks

    Message on mouseover

    Just add a title tag to your link. Image alt tags only work for IE browser (or if the image is missing) but if you use a title tag for the link that the image is anchoring, it will show up on mouseover/hover in compliant browsers.

    i tried adding the title tag to the link itself and saved it, then copied and pasted it into Outlook & it still doesn't show up right. The whole link still shows up instead of just "Maxxis". How can I get just that to show up when i roll over the images? is it an Outlook thing? Did they not add tool tips to Outlook 2010?

    Not quite. Perhaps you mean that the alt attribute (it's an attribute, not a tag) only generates a tooltip in IE, which is true.
