A "spoiler tag"-like function that works in eg emails, blog comments, etc: Possible?
I expected that there might be a standard HTML tag that actually had this function built-in, but I haven't been able to google up anything like that...
The initial google just turned up stuff like the following, so I'm guessing it's just not possible?
<title>Spoiler HTML code</title>
border:1px solid #ddd;
border:1px solid #eee;
var inner = obj.parentNode.getElementsByTagName("div");
if (inner.style.display == "none")
inner.style.display = "";
inner.style.display = "none";
<h1>Spoiler HTML w/Js Code by Skrap</h1>
<input type="button" onclick="showSpoiler(this);" value="Show/Hide" />
<div class="inner" style="display:none;">
This is a spoiler!

There isn't a tag like that. You might be able to build something similar with just CSS, but very few blog commenting systems allow you to post HTML.
