    Lightbulb Going Mobile

    You need to go mobile!

I just finished going mobile on my websites. Now all my sites are found in searches on the phone.

    It really worked.

I mostly used divs, then shrunk the images using height:auto and max-width:100%.

Anyways, I'm sure my traffic ranks will go up gradually.

If you have not done it yet, you really should as a webmaster's priority.

Mobile is going to be huge in 2018 for SEO. 60% of Google searches in 2017 were on mobile. Google has stated that they're going to start considering the mobile version of your site "primary" and the desktop version "secondary" in terms of where they rank you in the results.

    Hi,

I used to follow these until a few years ago. Now, I create the mobile version of the website and first and then scale it up for larger screens.
It may seem odd to you, but many developers recommend this method.
This method is called mobo-first design or progressive enhancement approach.

CSS modules like CSS grid and flex-box made it a lot easier to design websites this way. Try this method and let us know how it works for you.
