AD group member update in IIS

IIS caches the members of AD groups for access to Aspen software on several computers at my company. When I change the members of the groups, IIS does not reflect that change (i.e. access priveleges for the software does not change) untill I restart the IIS service. Does anyone know how to automatically have the IIS cache update the list of AD group members? The computers are running Win XP SP 2 and 3 with IIS 5.1.

First make sure you're looking in the correct place. The caching may be happening in windows itself or your application software rather than IIS. But it's possible IIS caches group membership the first time it's accessed, but I don't know myself, sorry. In the old days of classic asp you could do a quick edit on global.asa and that would force a reset of application variables. I doubt that helps you though
