Base directory help
I am not very knowledgeable on the IIS topic, so i thought I would ask someone who is. Here is my situation.
I have IIS installed on my desktop and have virtual directories setup that serve my web pages (html and PHP pages). I am having an issue with one site due to the following: The image path is set to /var/www/http/images/file.jpg and will not serve the image unless I change the path to images/file.jpg How can I make IIS use the / as the base directory? I am not sure if I asked that properly, but I am hoping my point gets across. If not, please help me make more sense. Thanks, b |

First, the path you show is a *nix path, and IIS runs on windows.
It sounds like you're trying to use a physical path in your url, which you should try to avoid doing. In any case, you haven't showed anything that indicates you have an iis issue. Show the exact url you're using that works, and that doesn't work.
