Can't Start World Wide Web Publishing Service
Hi everyone.
From about 2 weeks i can't start the W3 Publishing Service, so i can't run IIS Applications.
Looking on the Event Log i see the error 87 Invalid Parameter.
I try to unistall and install and reinstall the IIS, but nothing works.
I was wondering that could be a windows update, so i was uninstalling everyone since the problem appear, but nothing change.
Please, someone have and idea?
I have Windows Xp Professional SP2
.NET Framework 2.0
IIS 5.0
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Dev Shed.
Do you have any firewalls enabled? If so, disable them and retry.

Not et all, i have the kaspersky Internet Security, but the problem was there before i installed it. The windows firewall is disabled also, so i discard that possibility.
What else could be?
Thanks for the answer.

Open a command Prompt:
Start --> Run --> cmd
Hit enter
Then type:
netsh winsock reset
Then try running IIS again.

I'd tryed that before, but the problem's still happening. What´s the parameter that w3ps is claiming to be wrong.
I dont understand, it was working well.
Thanks for the answer and for your time.
