cannot find config file
Hi, i am running windows XP pro, and i just installed IIS but i dont know where to find the config file, like change the PORTS and remove the username/password restriction when u enter the IIS server and i also want to know the port of the remote administration URL of the IIS server. I searched other posts and for my question they just answered edit the config file or something. but i know i have to EDIT the config file, i just cant FIND it.
SO can anyone please help me, if i have more questions i'll post. Thank u guys |

I don't know if it is a specific 'config' file you are looking for. Windows
does a lot of things out of the registry. To change anything in IIS you can go to the 'IIS configuration snap-in' This should be located in Administrative Tools.
