cant open http://127.0.0.1

hey everyone - i recently set up a server which is basically a clone of my co-located server... i am planning on takign down my colocated server for a few days so i am migrating all my websites to my own box.

i have it mostly setup, but am having one big problem... In IIS i have 6 websites setup... i have removed the default site and added my own site (which i guess is the new default site).

the thing that is weird is that if i go to http://127.0.0.1 i get HTTP500 Internal Server Error (the page cannot be displayed)

yet if i go to http://127.0.0.1/wfischer (one of the other sites on IIS) it pops right up.... so none of the sites work except the wfischer site.

i have been goign NUTS tryign to figure this one out.

can someone please help??

I will take a guess that it's a permissions problem. Take a look at your folder permissions using Windows explorer. for starters.

What IIS version and windows version are you using?

actually it seems as though i solved it but uninstallign IIS and CF and then installing thigns in this order:

IIS, CF Server, then import IIS setings with metaedit....

whereas before i was doing it like this:
IIS, import IIS setings with metaedit, CF Server,....
