college student needs help
I am taking a sql class. For the class we downloaded SQL evaluation edition. I am running Windows XP Home on the computer I intalled sql to. SQL is running fine and I have been able to do queries. But for the next part of the class we need to do web pages and XML. I installed IIS and from the Start>All Programs>SQL>Configure SQLXML Support for IIS I get the console to open. However, there is no server listed. When I open Action and Connect and type the name of the server I get an error saying that server either doesn't exist or isn't working. Can someone give me some ideas? I've been at this for two days and haven't found anything on MS web site or through research. Thanks from a very frazzled student.

XP Home doesn't support IIS. You need XP Pro.
