Configuring One Server for Multiple Domains
Hello, I just started working for a company www.atra.com They are a non-profit auto association with a bunch of members. I got the job as last year I designed a template web site they can offer to their individual members. Until I came along, each member's web site was set up as www.atra.com/~name_of_shop This is obvisiously not the best scenario, as most shops would want www.name_of_shop.com Ok, so this brings me to my question. Is there a simple process someone can point me to, a tutorial perhaps, on how the server can have multiple domains pointing to it and they appear as www.name_of_shop.com I know another guy who is doing this but I am not sure where to start. Thanks.

From the Internet, you'd need to register all the necessary domain names and arrange for dns servers for them. Then you'd use IIS host headers to shuffle the domain requested to the proper website.
