Creating FTP accounts in IIS
Hi,
I have created an account on the server (Windows 2003) assigned administrator rights and can login using Bulletproof ftp however I can create folders but any files? however if I login with the administrator name I can create both folders and files. Also, I need some advice for the following: We have 20 users who need ftp access to certain folders i.e. site/sitea, site/siteb etc What is the best practise for this. Thanks, Sanj |

Tentatively moved from the FTP Help forum, as I expect you'll get better IIS-related answers in the IIS forum.

If you want to use IIS's FTP, then you have two options...
#1 allow anonymous access #2 create a windows user account for each user You could also create an FTP account and give that to authorized people, but if you change the password, you'll have to let all of them know. There is an option as well to isolate users so they can't see other user's files.
