Hi

Guys how can I disable IIS on startup (Windows XP pro)?

Open the Services applet in your Administrative Tools folder, and set the WWW service to a manual startup (or disabled if you never want to run it).

Thanks Doug G, do you know how can I do the same to disable apache at startup as well?

I'm runing IIS and Apache on one machine and I want to have control of which I will let run at startup.

yes it can be done I got the answer from SimonGreenhill on the apache section
