Displaying IP instead of web address
I have a website on IIS and a domain name thats set up with it. When It goes to my servers ip it displays my domain in the address bar correctly but on the bottom it says loading 65.555.545. (my ip address) instead of my domain name. Im just wondering if thats something I would fix through my domain supplier or on iis? Thanks

You'll have to describe your question in more detail for me to understand what you're asking, sorry.

On the status bar at the bottom of my web page (that is run off of IIS). When loading the page it says loading - then my ip address instead of loading - my domain name. My question was if this is something I would fix through IIS or through my domain company I purchased it through, inorder to have it not display my servers IP address when loading. Thanks |

afaik the text in the status bar comes from the request made by the browser. Are you by any chance referencing the page by IP instead of name?
I just tested on a site using firefox, and yep, if I open a browser using the domain name that's what shows in the status bar, and if I use the IP address that's what shows. |
