folder permissions and client access
Hi,
I am trying to find out what is the way to work with permissions on win 2k pro and IIS . Currently I got clients having separate folder and logins but if they know the folder of another client they are able to login into other folders using their login details so everyone has the same access rights through ftp. If I restrict folder permission by removing anonymous access then it prevent people to see their folders on the web without loging in which is not what I want. Basically I want to configure that client logsin through ftp and sees and can access only folder that is dedicated to his business. All ways I tried so far have some side effect like mess up the databases or prevents clients form viewing folders on web etc there seems to be no easy way around it. Any ideas tutorials??? Cheers |
