Forcing IIS to use a specific outgoing ip for SMTP
We're using IIS to send mail on our colocated server. It has a few different IPs attached to the server, but IIS decided to use the first one for sending outgoing mail, which is great, the mail gets there.
The only problem is the first IP doesn't have a PTR attached to it, but another one does. How can I force IIS to use a specific IP for all outgoing mail, instead of the first in the list?

Noodles23,
Did you found a solution for this? I have the same problem. I have a domain that uses a specific IP. I want all mail sent from this domain to use its own IP and Host Name, not the Server's Host Name/IP. Thanks. |

Well, I found a work around. I have a linux box that I'm using as a mail relay now so I'm not sending via IIS anymore.
