FTP Problem...
Hi again guys,
I have set up a web site and all works fine. I have set-up the dns entries to match the global dns IP address and I have set-up IIS6 on a 2003 server so the web site appears at it should.
I have a few domains on the server and none of them will accept FTP. I use WSFTP Pro and it tries to connect to any of the domains bringing up the correct IP address and the correct port (21).
I have also set up active directory with the domains usernername and password and made them a member of the 'domain users' group. I have also set their default home directory to where theire web site files live and set the permissions on that root folder to allow them full control on that folder alone. I have also set up IIS6 with the anonymous permissions to be the username and password I have created for them.
I have even tried making them a member of the administrators group just to test and I still cannot get in.
I am guessing I have not set the server up for FTP and if so, how do you do that? It is on a Windows 2003 Enterprise edition server with static IP addresses. The web sites work but none of the sites can accept FTP.
Is there something extra I have to set-up in IIS to allow this?
Thanks again for any help you can offer.
Dan
