getting server side includes to work

Hi,
I have IIS installed on my local machine for testing purposes.

When I browse my site on localhost, the includes are not working at all.

What do I do? Where do I look to fix the problem?

Internet Services Manager > Properties sheet for the website

Go to the "Home Directory" tab > Configuration > Mappings

Make sure that the extension ".shtml" (with the dot) points to the executable C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\ssinc.dll, enable "All verbs" (or limit it to GET). You may need to restart IIS to get the changes to take effect.
