Getting www.domain.com to work along with domain.com?
Hi,
I'm running Win2003 and IIS 6.0. I have two domains hosted on the server. I have their DNS records setup so (IPs substituted): domain1.com 66.66.66.66 www.domain1.com 66.66.66.66 domain2.com 66.66.66.66 www.domain2.com 66.66.66.66 So both share the same IPs fine. In IIS I add a site header to domain1.com and domain2.com and set their home directory to c:\websites\domain1.com\ and c:\websites\domain2.com\ No problems there. But I'd like www.domain1.com and www.domain2.com to work as well, and I can't seem to do it. For example: domain1.com www.domain1.com both bring up the right page in the \domain1.com\ folder domain2.com brings up content in the \domain2.com\ folder www.domain2.com doesn't.. it brings up the \domain1.com\ content... could someone explain how to get www. to work correctly? i dont want just a redirect, because i want them to access files like www.domain.com/blah as well as domain.com/blah thanks ![]() |

Host headers might work for you. Check the IIS 6 Documentation for details, I don't use IIS6.
