Hardware IP Change on IIS 4 Server
I use to be in a IIS development team that over the past 5 years has moved away from IIS. We still have a legacy (sorry) IIS Server and I have now been asked to migrate it to a new subnet, hence the IP will be changing.
The server is Windows NT4 running IIS 4. I am currently looking for any tutorials / tips etc. that will help me reconfigure a server where the ip address changes to alow IIS to continue working without being rebuilt. DNS re-mapping is not an issue, and there is no additional hardware available in the timeframe to build a new server and migrate the wwwroot data. Thanks to anyone who can lend me a hand. |

Euh? ..
IIS uses the IP addres(ses) assigned by the system, (via network settings) just add the new ip address in the tcp/ip settings. and you are ready to go. |
