Hosting company's server keeps caching files...
I am at my wits end with this issue. I will be working on a site that is hosted on a remote server. I will make changes, sometimes to asp or htm pages, other times to css pages. I save the file, only to open it in a browser to not see the changes. ONLY AFTER RENAMING THE FILE and NAMING IT BACK AGAIN do the changes take effect. What is going? I know its not my local computer's problem as someone else had the same issue on the same site on the same file! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Where does IIS enter in this picture?

IIS is the server the site is on and that keeps "serving" up the unchanged pages...or so that is how I percieve it.

What version of IIS? I seem to remember seeing something like this with asp pages not taking edits on older NT4, but I don't remember seeing anything similar with IIS 5+

Maybe your isp has some slightly misconfigured caching proxy between you and the web server.
