How can i change the url of my webpage

Good day!

I used Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0 and php 4.3.4

I am new in IIS or uploading webpage in intranet. I'm so happy that my php webpage was run on IIS but my problem is the url of my webpage, because as of now the url of my webpage is like this: http:\\localhost\folder\index.php, my boss wants that the url should be like this:http:\\intranet.web.ph

Is it possible that i can change the url?Is it i need to configure the IIS 6.0?

The url's you posted aren't valid, you need a forward slash not backslashes.

You need to have your dns point the desired url to your webserver.

Hello,

If your machine name is "intranet" you could have the following URL - http://intranet/webph/. I agree that if you would like to have another name you should have DNS server resolving that name.

Regards
