It's in the documentation. Have a look at the online docs here. Also have a look here(pdf link) at this article on installing awstats on iis. In the article, ingnore the section on configuring web extensions as this is only for iis6. Hope this helps. Displeaser

Can you give an example. If you go to the site and then check the log what local time is on your computer and what is reported in the log. D |

Open the "Internet Information services" applet from administrative tools, right click your primary site and select properties, you will se a section on the first panel, "enable Logging" which is ticked. Underneath that is a dropdown list called "Active log format". "W3C extended logfile format" is probably selected there, change it to "Microsoft IIS Log File Format" and see if that makes a difference. I think the extended format use gmt instead of the local time. Displeaser |

No problem, use the command "convlog.exe" from the command line. If you just open a command prompt and type "convlog" it will display help about its syntax. You can use convlog to convert your logs and that should fix the times in the log for you. gmt (Greenwich Mean time Linky) Post back here if you have problems with convlog. Displeaser |

the logs turn over at midnight, you could have a scheduled batch file run, to do the convertion for you at 2 minutes past midnight. That way you dont have to worry about it. As part of the batch file, move the converted log to a differnt place. D |

Did the convlog fix your problem? not sure what you mean. So your running awstats and its generating a webpage with the results and you have to restart IIS for this to appear. Is this correct? Displeaser |
