You might try turning off the xp2 firewall while testing.

You need to allow iis access through the firewall.

Is there more to your error message? If you're using IE turn off the "show friendly http errors" setting in the browser.

Smile

yes, I had turn off the "show friendly http errors" setting in the browser. But it doesn't work. And I am doubt, why I need to turn off, seen I just create new project only haven't use the IE browse my webpage yet.

Someone had told me that:
Quote:
it is because of the patches that you updated before you install the vs.net 2003. i mean all those security patches that you updated.

the IIS already been configured, but the compilor cannot identify the IIS.

But I still get what it mean..

Thanks all for the reply here..

You should get a longer and more complete error message with the setting turned off. What is the error?

What you mean by turn off the "show friendly http errors" setting in the browser is it mean go to internet options and advanced tab then uncheck the show friendly http errors.

Is it like that, I do what you told me. But it is still same error message I get. But I doubt here, I not browse the IE how can I related to my problem yet?

Thanks a lot of you.
