I can see my page, nobody else can
I just installed IIS 5.1 on WinXP pro
I can see my own page at URL and at URL (my IP number). I haven't changed any other settings, accounts. etc. I do not have personal firewall activated, but I am running ZoneAlarm. If it's ZoneAlarm causing the problem how do I, or rather do I want to set port 80.( I guess I can temporarily disconnect ZoneAlarm to test). When another person tries to see the page ( different computer, network, state) they say they see "The page cannot be displayed" Any help appreciated |

You need to open up port 80 on the ZoneAlarm. But, just to make sure, you can disable the firewall, get someone to connect. It it works, then you know that this is the problem. I'm not sure how to do this in ZoneAlarm - if it's the free version you may not be able to do it, and you may have to buy something better.
