IIS - 404 errors
I have a couple of different websites running on IIS. One works fine with no problem but on the other one when you try to browse the files(pics) in the temp folder I get 404 - page cannot be displayed.
Here's the log entry: 2006-11-02 20:15:49 W3SVC1548223421 192.168.2.6 GET /scch/Temp/logo800.jpm - 80 - 192.168.2.6 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 404 3 50 I checked the paths and permissions and they look good. any suggestions? Thanks |

Are you referring to a folder named Temp within your web?
If you're referring to the windows temp folder, IIS won't have any permissions to that folder unless you grant permissions in windows.

yes it's a temp folder in the website, under default website\websitename.

apparently there is something wrong with your url, or the file doesn't exist, or for some reason IIS doesn't have read permissions to the file or folder.
