IIS 5.0 --- can sone 1 help me ?

I need little favor from you if u can help me I really grateful to you well I’m have problem with my client’s webserver I have IIS 5.0 and OS is windows 2000 advance server ..

Problem :-

If some 1 press F5 and continuously keep pressing F5 I mean refresh on my client’s website site and if he has good internet speed so its sands thousands of requests result my application server goes down so what I need from you I need any software name which can stop these type of things like if some sand’s 2 many request’s on 1 page so that software can stop or block that IP address for a while then auto relies that or is there any thing in IIS 5.0 which can help me it that ??

There is bandwidth throttling available in IIS5, search the IIS help for details.

First of all thanks replied very quickly!
Its only control’s or limited bandwidth but my problem is I want some thing like which can block that IP for a while if some 1 doing port scanning and trying 2 download full website using software like “Teleport Pro” or trying to let my server down.

I don't know of any built-in IIS feature that will do what you want, you could probably write some asp code that will stop repeated requests. Various asp forum applications include "flood control" code which is very similar to your requirement.
