Question IIS 5.1 Help

I see others that have somewhat of the same problem...

1st heres what i have:

OS: Win Xp Pro SP2
Router: LinkSys
Internet Type: Cable - Comcast
Ip Address Fowarding: No-Ip.com

Server Programs

IIS 5.1
Abyss Webserver x1 ** Curently Using **

No, i dont run both at the same time. i disabled the abyss and then setup IIS 5.1 and did all the settings and stuff it still wouldn't work so i went back to abyss for now till i can figure this out.

i currently have the computer with a static ip, the routers setup to point all services to the static ip computer & i use port 80 fowarding from no.ip.org to get around the ip address to a name instead, i currently use abyss webserver x1 to host my sites but when i install the IIS 5.1 from the XP Pro cd i have to restart to get it up and running and then i check it to make sure all of settings are ok, i can access it by going to the computer name and/or the static ip #, but it will not let it through the ip address for my cable modem or my equine.no-ip.org address redirect to ip address on port 80.

I can do everything with abyss webserver x1 but ftp and site updates from some where else other then on my network. you can see the site for your self... http://equine.no-ip.org

Yes i know all the about the limiting of the internet providers for port 80, but i havent had problem till i wanted to use the IIS 5.1 what am i doing wrong. is there a better program that will allow ftp'ing for uploading of websites when modified from outside of server since i cant get IIS 5.1 to work or can somone help me with IIS 5.1 ?

Sincerely,

You wouldn't expect this to work with any web server software. To FTP into your server from the same network, you'd have to use its local IP address (unless you setup a local DNS server or add an entry in your hosts file).
