IIS 6.0 Mime Types
Hi All MICROSOFT IIS ADMINS,
I need help badly with Mime Types in IIS 6.0 I want to create a custom Mime Type, here is what I do in IIS 5.0 Under IIS 5.0 -> HTTP Headers -> File Types(under Mime Map) -> New Type Associated Extension:- .hpml Content Type(MIME):- text/help.hpml; charset=UTF-8 And whenever I request for a file type hpml, it works great in IIS 5.0 I do the same in IIS 6.0, it doesnt work. I have been searching on this issue quiet long and havent had any luck. Any help with this is a great help. - ASR |

Somewhere there is a ms KB article on setting custom mime types in IIS6 but I don't have a link. Try searching the MS site if you haven't.
