IIS 6 and Web Enabled Folders problem-MS Word
I have a web site based on having 'web enabled folders' and in the past had no problem with IE version 7. With I E 8, the option to 'File/Open as a web enabled folder ' is no longer there so as far as I know what you need to do is 'map a network' drive and type in the URL eg://rage.dom.ie/.

The problem I've come across is that I cannot open a MS Word files. All other files open fine and if I copy the file locally it is fine but if I just double click to open my Pc hangs completely and I have to restart the box.
I would really appreciate any help to get this working as we need to go live soon.

I don't know what web enabled folders are, sorry. Maybe you're looking for a solution to a browser problem, not an IIS problem?
