Question IIS 6 - ASP pages hangs up

We have quite a few websites on server using Access and ASP. Some use DSN-less connection string and some uses ODBC.

windows server 2003, IIS 6.0,

Every now and then ASP sites hangs up. All web services runs ok when ASP website hangs up. Other website with static content works ok. Nothing apprantly wrong with webserver. But in order to make ASP/Dynamic website we have to restart the server. Restarting the server fixes the problem.

Event log does not point to any event which may trigger ASP page to hang up. Can anyone suggest what may be cuaging the above issue? or on webserver where can we check cuase of the above ?

I'd greatly appreciate any help/pointer.

Thanks in advance :

Look for errors in the system event logs and IIS logs. I don't have IIS6, but there should be some way to put a suspect web in it's own process so you don't need to restart the server while you're working on this problem.

Thanks for your reply. Clicking on Event viewer It shows log for application, security & system logs. It does not really point to error? There is one error in system log which points to "TermServDevices" eventID 1114. Error communicating with the Spooler system service. Open the Services snap-in and confirm that the Print Spooler service is running.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Clicking on microsoft link it does not bring up inofrmation. and Tells to search for the error at some other place.

How do I view IIS logs?
