Dear All,
I have downloaded IIS 6.0 and installed in my windows XP computer. It got installed successfully. But when I go to control panel and click on Administrator Tools I am not getting the IIS icon. What could be the problem? Please help me Thanks and regards, Suvi Joseph |

No, I have never used this tool myself. Make sure you are the computer administrator user when you install the tool is one thing.

Are you sure you've installed it correctly. Check in the services that the IIS Admin service is present and started.

Why not just create an icon? It should point to a snap in in %SystemRoot%\System32\inetsrv\ The Administrative Tools folder is in the programs folder in All User's start menu. |
