IIS 6 Slow Web Serving
I'm not sure if my problem is related to IIS or Windows 2003 Server, but I'm having a serious issue with pages loading extremely slow. I'll run down the setup, its not complicated at all.
I have a 2003 Server box with top of the line hardware. The box is a domain controller, DNS server, DHCP Server and IIS 6 web server and its on a full T1 connection.
IIS 6 was installed with default settings and I'm not using host headers. I have the test website assigned to one of the static public IPs. I have two network cards in the machine.
Network card #1 is setup with a static private IP that is plugged into the switch for the LAN.
Network card #2 is setup with roughly a dozen static public IPs.
The web pages will load eventually, but it takes a very long time to do so. All the web pages are html. I've encountered people having problems with asp and so forth, but I do not use any asp, just html.
Any leads as to why there would be a problem with slow serving I would greatly appreciate it.
